Revolutionizing Homeopathy: Proposing Bio Responsive Antimicrobial Homeopathics (B-RAH) as a Novel Antibacterial Drug Class

The rise in bacterial infections as well as the rapid development of antimicrobial resistance has led to the need for new therapeutic strategies that are effective, safe and patient centred. Conventional antibiotics have a proven biochemical mechanism of action and can have side effects, disrupt normal microbiota and present a problem of antimicrobial resistance. Classical homeopathy, on the other hand, focuses on the symptoms of the illness and on the individual, with a focus on holistic treatment, but has no measurable direct anti-bacterial effect when used in high dilutions. This theoretical study introduces a new concept, Bio Responsive Antimicrobial Homeopathics (BRAH), which aims to combine the homeopathic principle of symptom similarity with the presence of bioactive compounds with measurable antibacterial properties, in low doses. In the study a qualitative, non-experimental methodology was used, and an evaluation of classical homeopathic literature, pharmacological references, systematic reviews and biomedical research was carried out, with the aim of identifying a scientifically coherent theoretical model. The proposed BRAH framework proposes a bio responsive therapeutic approach, where individual therapeutic choices are made based on personalized symptom patterns, as well as biological markers of infection, thereby incorporating personalized and evidence informed antimicrobial treatment. Due to its low dose formulation, B-RAH has a favourable safety profile and, according to this analysis, may have dual therapeutic effects, both via direct antibiotic activity and through supporting the body's natural processes and immune system. Moreover, the framework presents a possible link between holistic homeopathic philosophy and contemporary antimicrobial pharmacology, thereby adding to the field of integrative medicine. While completely theoretical and therefore necessitating laboratory, preclinical, and clinical testing, B-RAH offers a logical basis for future studies to develop novel, personalized and bio responsive antimicrobial agents for the treatment of mild to moderate bacterial infections.
