Abstract

Cross-sectional anatomy represents a fundamental component of modern medical education and clinical research, serving as a bridge between conventional gross anatomical knowledge and advanced diagnostic imaging techniques. This systematic literature review reconnoiters the development, methodologies, and clinical significance of cross-sectional anatomy in relation to computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound imaging. By critically gauging anatomical atlases, imaging correlation studies, and edifying models, the review climaxes how the integration of cadaveric cross-sectional specimens with multimodal imaging techniques has altered radiological education and improved diagnostic precision across a wide range of medical areas.
